Got two loads monday and called it a day.
Tuesday got two loads and a short road trip to beloit and back.
On the way back, busted a water hose.
My two dispatchers just happened to be coming back from beloit as well
and
saw me on the side.
They had a tow truck bring me another tractor and we swapped on the
shoulder
at 0100 hours in the morning. Real fun day.
By the time we got done with that, I was to damn tired to go anywhere
so
I
parked it at the truckstop for the morning and headed in after I got
up.
So on Wednesday, I got 3 loads. First load was 96,000. Didn't weigh the
second load.
Third load showed 100,000.
Asked the #1 dispatcher what exactly the company policy was on being
overweight.
"Company policy? Just don't get caught."
I didn't do anything different with these loads that I hadn't done
before
so
why the extra weight?
"Could be any number of reasons. Like having tons of water in them."
This is one good reason why the trucks should have on board scales on
them.
None of the farms have scales so we don't know for sure until we get to
the
plant.
In the mean time, you could get stopped and checked.
BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAH, looks like the Potatoes Express isn't what you
trumped
it up
to be is it?
It's getting close to the time when the processing plants will shut down
for
the summer.
You can't survive hauling just potatoes anyway.
The company will haul practically anything anywhere just like anything
else.
We are licensed for 48 states so we're not limited to do just one thing.
With this area being big on paper and cheese, those two items get shipped
year round.
Just so happens that potatoes are a big item when they need them.

Oh fuck off, liar.
If I sat here and wrote the world's biggest lie, you'd sit there and say

Hey Captain Kirk, you're no good at logic, so don't bother trying mmmmkay?
You're a compulsive liar, Bullis. I know that and everybody else knows
