Why are Galaxy 10 meter radios illegal?
1) Illegal to import.
2) Not type accepted as required by the FCC.
3) output power is greater than 4 watts.
4) Easily converted to 11 meters which is also illegal.
5) Voice transmission is not allowed on the 10 meter frequencies just

5) Voice transmission is not allowed on the 10 meter frequencies just
the CB band, so where is the morse code key jack?
6) Ham radios do not have "channel indicators" which somehow mysteriously
coincide with the CB channels.
7) "Roger beep" is not allowed.
What will happen when you get caught with one?
1) No ham license to operate means a hefty fine in itself.
2) Transmitting voice on "Code Only" frequencies is a fineable offense.
3) A $10,000 fine will be imposed on you and your company.
4) Loss of radio equipment. Permanently. You won't get it back.
Yeah but the truckstops sell them.
Yes they do and they are also in court over the matter.
Because truckstops sell them does not make it legal.
What did I say right off the bat above? They are illegal to import.
That means that they are illegal to be sold in the USA.
Just like marijuana and other drugs are illegal.

What in the HELL is wrong with you Bullis? You've been told a jillion times
you're wrong, yet you keep on bleating the same damn thing over and over
again.
But go ahead. Don't heed the warnings. You go buy that fancy radio. Yack
away on the code only frequencies.
Some ham radio operator will spot you doing it, get your truck information
and turn it into the FCC.
Then you can come back here and tell us all about how the FCC was mean to
you because you had to have that damned radio.
